This page showcases some examples of my skillset and experience in written communication, creative production and graphic design.
TECHNICAL &
CREATIVE WRITING
I have had the opportunity to hone in on my writing craft both technically and creatively with each professional position I've held thus far. Whether it be writing for pamphlets, blogs, online forms, social media, grant applications, e-mails...you name it - I feel confident that I can execute a writing task effectively and efficiently.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
I have experience in graphic design and continue to sharpen my creative skillset daily (professional experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Applications). My most current position primarily involves creative production of reports, documents, flyers, infographics, one-pagers, postcards, blog graphics, and web design/management.
In previous roles, I designed social media graphics, posters, member spotlight graphics, podcast graphics and event content.
I feel most myself when I am creating, and design gives me an outlet to strengthen my creative skillset. In terms of professional development this year, I was a 2023 Adobe MAX Conference attendee, where I learned endless amounts of information providing insight into Adobe's newest application features, tools, and updates all aimed at enhancing the creative journey. I look forward to implementing these newfound skills and techniques, taking my creative projects to the next level!
COMMUNITY
ENGAGEMENT EFFORTS
In my current role, I manage our organization's website and produce the "Staff Spotlight"
bi-monthly blog posts on our website to showcase the incredible staff that work at Butler Institute for Families. This initiative has proven to drive up Butler's social media interactions and overall engagement.
In my previous role at Scientific Societies, Inc., I developed the "Member Monday" feature on social media platforms as a means to spotlight individuals within the brewing industry and bring a face to the unique community that is the Master Brewers of America Association.
Among other community engagement achievements, I had successfully implemented weekly social media promotion for Master Brewers Podcast, which is free to the public and now has the ability to reach a larger audience.

POWERPOINT DESIGN
In my current role I have the opportunity to refine my skillset in presentation and PowerPoint deck design.
VIDEO & MOTION GRAPHICS
Creating basic motion graphics and videos are among the skills I possess and have had the opportunity to create in previous roles. While my experience with developing videos and motion graphics is elementary, I am a quick learner and am eager to further develop this skill!
